The AAMET (Association for the Advancement of Meridian Energy Techniques) is a registered not for profit professional association, with clearly defined aims and objectives. They are committed to maintaining strong codes of ethics and practice, and to establish AAMET as the lead training provider of Emotional Freedom Techniques.

- See below for the requirements for AAMET EFT Level 2, Advanced Practitioner and EFT Master: You must submit case studies to your AAMET Trainer, participate in mentoring sessions and sign the AAMET code of Ethics. AAMET Trainers individually certify practitioners.
Certification: AAMET EFT Level 2 Practitioner
(details of the below are provided by your chosen AAMET EFT trainer and/or mentor)
- Attend AAMET EFT Level 1 & 2 live workshops by an AAMET Trainer (If you’ve attended Level training with a trainer not certified by AAMET, it may still qualify. Contact the AAMET EFT Trainer of your choice to discuss)
- Pass the Level 2 exam, sign the code of ethics & discuss/sign your mentoring and practice program with the AAMET EFT Trainer of your choice to become a Level 2 Practitioner Candidate.
- Complete 50 hours working with at least 25 individuals
- Complete a minimum of 6 hours private or group mentoring on the application of EFT
- Complete the required reading, DVD’s, studies as determined by mentor
- 3 Case Studies (preferably a combination of live in-training, audio & or video with at least one accompanied by a written report)
Certification: AAMET EFT Level 3 Advanced Practitioner
(details of the below are provided by your chosen AAMET EFT trainer and/or mentor)
- Attend AAMET EFT Level 3 live workshop by an AAMET Trainer
- Pass the Level 3 exam & discuss/sign your mentoring and practice program with the AAMET EFT Trainer of your choice
- Complete 50 ADDITIONAL hours working with at least 25 ADDITIONAL individuals
- Complete a minimum of 6 hours private or group mentoring on the application of EFT
- Complete 30 hours CPD (Continuing Professional Development) (reading, DVD’s, associated education, & studies as determined by mentor) – Note: to retain practitioner status, 30 CPDs are required every year
- 3 Multi-Case Studies or 2 multi-case + 1 practice reveiw (Click here for details)
Certification: AAMET EFT Master
Details of this program are being finalized by the AAMET Training Committee – which includes EFT Masters Jan Luther, Nancy Gnecco, Loretta Sparks, AAMET Spain rep. Marie Holliday and Ann Adams, the director of the original EFT Master Program that she and Gary Craig developed together.
